Adam’s Future Looks Bleak
Adam’s (Justin Hartley) losing the will to live. He’s stopped eating, is having terrifying dreams, and rethinking his marriage with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). According to the August 22 issue of Soap Opera Digest, things are about to get much worse. He’s on the verge of a complete and total meltdown!

Adam’s horrifying nightmares don’t stop with being released from jail only to watch Chelsea die. His visions take a turn when Victor (Eric Braeden) shows up as a prison guard–and he has to fend off his own father. Adam’s subconscious plays out all the anger and pain he feels towards his dear old dad. After years of living under Victor’s iron fist, The Mustache has finally broken his spirit.

A Life Worse Than Death!
The Newman prodigy can’t hold on any longer. He knows he’s falling apart and almost resigns himself to dying behind bars. Every lead to save him hits a dead end. He’s sure Victor will win every time, and there’s nothing left to do but wait to until he quietly withers away.

Adam slips into a deep depression full of loneliness. He misses his family and his life outside the concrete walls. His mind, body, and spirit are breaking down and he’s not even trying to cope anymore. Even if Adam does get out of prison alive, he may never be the same man again.
