The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam’s Losing Hope!

Brand new The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Adam’s dreams about his life after prison are anything but pleasant.

Dark Thoughts
Adam’s (Justin Hartley) doing a lot of thinking about what being in jail means. His family will spend the next three decades without him, and he knows it’s not fair to anyone. The Newman prodigy’s beautiful wife and wonderful son are suffering worse than he is.

When Adam finally rests, his dreams are full of nightmares that feel a little too real. Poor Adam pictures Connor growing up without his father, and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) working herself sick worrying about his life behind bars.

Even the day of his release isn’t a happy one. Although Connor knows his dad is innocent, it does little to give back all those lost years. To make matters worse, Connor was the only one there while Chelsea was dwindling away. Much like Adam with Hope (Signey Coleman), Connor sat vigil by his mama’s bedside praying for a miracle.

When Adam arrives home, he finds Chelsea on her death bed. Her dying wish was to have her family together again, and she gets what she was hoping, but not for long. Chelsea slips away only moments after Adam kisses her hello and goodbye.

Placing the Blame
Emotional and angry, Adam then heads to Victor’s office to yell at the portrait of his father. Victor (Eric Braeden) died years before, and Adam hopes his dad is rotting in hell. If it weren’t for The Mustache and his underhanded, controlling ways, none of this would have happened.

Sadly, Adam’s nightmares may become a reality if no one ever finds those diary pages. His freedom depends on Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Victor to do the right thing and get him out of jail!
