Breaking The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal poor Adam can’t catch a break. His impending release is now a thing of the past, and he’s facing a boatload of time in prison.
Is a Harsh Sentence Coming?
It’s too bad Adam (Justin Hartley) couldn’t hold it together for just a few more days. His lack of sleep, food, and hope led him to do the unthinkable. Now, a prison guard is in the E.R. and hurt so badly that battery charges are a must!
The attack was so bad that even The Mustache may not be able to help his son now. The warden is out for blood, and Victor (Eric Braeden) has no control over what happens next. He’s been waiting to punish a Newman, and Adam is the perfect victim!
A Decade of Lock-Up?
The prison official is more than happy to tell Adam he’ll be facing six to 10 years for beating the guard! He wants to make sure Adam faces the maximum sentence possible and pay for his actions.

Is There a Way Out of Trouble?
Luckily Adam has Michael (Christian LeBlanc) by his side. Further spoilers promise the high-ranking lawyer has a plan to get Adam out of jail and back with his family. He knows Adam wasn’t in his right state of mind and urges him to plead insanity when the case goes to trial. Michael is willing to do whatever it takes to get his client out of prison, even if it’s only to switch him over to Fairview!
