Breaking The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Adam’s taking self-sabotage to a whole new level. What he does in an upcoming episode will make his guilty plea look like child’s play.
Adam Fires Michael!
Not only is Adam (Justin Hartley) going to let the court punish him, but he’s punishing himself. He’s resigning himself to spending the rest of his life behind bars and will take one final step to make that happen. He’s letting his lawyer go and preparing to walk into his sentencing hearing alone.
Firing Michael (Christian LeBlanc) is one of the worst moves he can make, and they both know it. Having a lawyer by his side is Adam’s only chance of getting at lesser punishment. Without any representation, he’ll be facing the maximum amount of time and could be facing a decade in prison.

Can Anyone Save Adam From Himself?
Victor (Eric Braeden) swears he’ll do everything he can to get his son out of jail. The guilt he feels over Adam being in this situation is overwhelming. This is probably the very first time Victor’s conscious is getting the best of him. But his promises and all the hard work in the world may not be enough to get his son out of jail alive.
Adam may not let Victor save him. Adam’s breaking down at a rapid speed. He seems to want to fall into the deep end and never come up for air again. It’s almost as if he’s forgotten what he has to live for or even how to have the will to live at all.
