The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Becomes Victor’s Rock

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, February 24, 2020, reveal the attack on Victoria will not be in vain. Her emergency brings her family together and even has Adam trying to get closer to his father. Are things as innocent as they seem or is Adam scheming while his sister is on the verge of death?

The Young and the Restless Spoiler Highlights

It was quite a surprise to see Adam (Mark Grossman) show up at the hospital after Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) stabbing. Sure, they are siblings but they’ve never really gotten along. They’re not even a through-thick-and-thin type family. Heck, she was upset when they found Adam alive. However, he couldn’t simply stay away.

Spoilers show Adam continues to step up in the next episode, too. He wants to be with Victor (Eric Braeden), his siblings, and even show support to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) as they silently pray for Vicky to live through this. It’s a lovely gesture… or is it?

Is Adam Aiming High?

Does Adam have ulterior motives for sitting with his dad and waiting for news? During breakfast at Society, he brings up Newman Enterprises to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and lightly glosses over the possibility of going back, even temporarily (or so he says). Someone needs to cover for Victoria while she’s recuperating, so why not him?

Of course, it’s much too soon to propose that to dear, old dad. He is still walking a thin line with his family and can not afford to cause a rift. One wrong move or trying to go for broke too quickly could have his helping-hand offer blow up in his face.

Could A War Be Brewing?

What exactly is Adam’s plan here? It’s a well-known fact Victoria was chosen as second best because Adam turned down the CEO job. If he sits in the throne will he really let it go when Victoria’s ready to wear the crown? Or, will this become the sibling battle of the century?

Either way, Adam has to blind Victor with a show of love, adoration, appreciation, and respect to have any hope of rising to the top. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
