The Young and the Restless recaps for May 3-7, 2021, features Adam and Nick making the best out of a bad situation, Amanda flexing her legal muscles, and more.
Heeding Sharon’s (Sharon Chase) advice, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) made his way to the Montalvo farmhouse and wound up finding Adam (Mark Grossman) hunkered down in the cellar.
Nick explained Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) dire condition and begged Adam to agree to donate his kidney. When Adam refused to return to Genoa City on the grounds that he would be arrested for Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) poisoning, Nick swore that he’d shelter Adam until the surgery took place and then help spirit him out of the country.
Adam eventually relented, but a brewing storm outside the dwelling caused the men to become trapped. Nick eventually found a secondary exit, but upon forcing the doors open the men were separated by a collapsed ceiling.
Adam managed to free himself, and at Nick’s urging, he fled the cellar. Adam later returned with a rescue crew, and he assisted in freeing an injured Nick from the rubble. The men returned to GC, and Sharon offered Adam free run of her home.
During a meeting with Amanda (temporary recast Karla Mosely), Michael (Christian LeBlanc) offered up a plea deal, but she declined on Sutton’s (Jack Landron) behalf … Michael and Victor (Eric Braeden) both attempted to ascertain why Amanda is representing the politico.
After catching Summer (Hunter King) pouring over wedding magazines, Jack (Peter Bergman) summons her and Kyle (Michael Mealor) to Jabot, and asks permission to throw them an engagement party. The couple happily give it.
Victor threatened Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) with gaining custody of Connor if she didn’t come clean about framing Adam for her crime. When Chelsea makes plans to do just that, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) begs her to reconsider since she’ll be arrested as an accomplice after the fact.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) is heartened to receive a specially curated care package from Chance … When Mariah (Camryn Grimes) returns from her business trip, Abby’s hovering is kicked into overdrive – a fact that does not go unnoticed by a concerned Nina (Tricia Cast). The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
