The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, September 26

Despite his insistence that he’s not interested, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) learns from his mother and father, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is his biological mother. Chelsea is put out to hear how negatively Johnny reacted to the news… Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) make dinner plans.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) asks Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) for a lowdown on Chancellor-Winters’ main players; Nate is magnanimous in his descriptions… Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) delight Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) with their decision to take the company public. Devon questions and harps on, Billy’s absence; Lily refuses to share any details… Nate and Audra are apprised of Devon and Lily’s decision. Nate phones Victoria and relays the news.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) berates and goads Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), then changes tactics when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) texts her with an update: she’s got the goods on their mutual rival. Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) takes her mother’s about-face at face value and thanks her for her efforts; Diane isn’t won over… Diane’s benefactor announces that they are Genoa City; Diane is greatly chagrined.

Billy sorely regrets informing Johnny of his link to Chelsea… Victoria puts Chelsea on notice — she’s not going to allow her to weasel her way into Johnny’s life… Nate firmly commits himself to wrestling control of Chancellor-Winters away from his kin and placing it in Victoria’s hands. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) declares her intention to put some distance between her and Nate… Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) evaluate their relationship and declare it a rousing success… Audra makes Victoria’s acquaintance…

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, September 28

Diane employs subterfuge to obtain entrance to the Abbott abode. She wonders if Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has managed to forgive and forget her past transgression; he insists that he has; Diane leans in and kisses Jack who does not reciprocate… Diane is horrified to discover her benefactor in her hotel room.

Victoria and Billy bemoan their recent actions. Victoria warns Billy that she will not tolerate Chelsea’s efforts to mother Johnny… Adam is put out to see Sally and Nick dining at Society and to hear that Johnny has been told of his and Chelsea’s connection. Later, Adam confronts Nick and accuses him of sleeping with Sally.

The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, September 29

Though Nick sidesteps Adam’s barrage of questions, Sally admits that she’s been intimate with her ex’s brother… Victoria cautions Nick about involving himself with Sally. Chole Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gives Sally similar advice… Sally and Nick engage in another assignation at The Grand Phoenix… Summer, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and third wheel Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), ring in the couple’s Vow Renewal Eve… Elena takes her leave of Nate.

Nick butts heads with Victoria and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over their desire to acquire a controlling interest in Chancellor-Winters… Devon learns that Elena and Nate are estranged… Diane dissuades her mystery man from revealing himself at Kyle and Summer’s vow renewal… Noah, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) agree to divide officiant duties between the three of them… Nikki shares proof that Diane’s tale of woe while residing in LA was fabricated.
