The Young and the Restless recaps for April 5-9, 2021, features Kyle’s past coming back to haunt him in a big way, Amanda making a bold move, and so much more.
The Young and the Restless Recaps Highlight
Despite everyone’s best attempt to convince him otherwise, Kyle (Michael Mealor) insisted on taking a meeting with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi)…a meeting which devolved into him being forced to deny sleeping with the businessman’s wife!
Later, Kyle received notice that Ashland had canceled his plan to get into bed with Jabot, but unbeknownst to him and the entire Abbott family, Ashland readied himself to go after the company.
Family Matters
A contentious meeting with her blustery grandfather very nearly convinced Amanda (Mishael Morgan) to decline the offer to join his defense team.
However, she eventually decided that she would indeed represent him. An overjoyed Naya (Ptosha Storey) personally welcomed Amanda into the Ames family fold.
Taking Sides
Against her better judgment, Sharon (Sharon Chase) took a meeting with Adam (Mark Grossman) and indulged him his flight fantasy concerning Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) being Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) actual poisoner.
After much begging, and pleading, and emotional blackmail from Adam, Sharon agreed to go on a reconnaissance mission…and she eventually came to accept the conclusion that perhaps Chelsea was indeed the villain of the piece.
And while she did her utmost to convince Rey of Adam’s innocence, Chelsea staged a miraculous recovery in Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) presence just so she could rat out her enemy’s involvement with her ex.
Laying Down The Law
Thanks to Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) unending interference, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) learned all about Sally (Courtney Hope) and Summer’s (Hunter King) increasingly hostile, tit-for-tat rivalry.
She confronted her underlings and ordered them to make nice or ready themselves to stand in the unemployment line. The properly contrite young women made apologies to each other and agreed to an actual truce.
And Baby Makes Seven
It’s official, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is pregnant! Cue the celebration, cue the tears, cue Abby (Melissa Ordway) who’s busily documenting the entire process for her absentee husband. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
