The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, June 22, 2021, finds Summer crying to Mommy, Tara kissing up to Jack, Adam worrying about Chelsea, and Chelsea worrying about Adam, while Nate makes an offer to Elena.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

While Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) pumps Jack (Peter Bergman) for details about the Abbott family and gushes about how delighted she is to have Harrison be a part of it FOREVER, Summer (Hunter King) sobs to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) about how she can’t decide between taking her dream job in Italy or staying in Genoa City, marrying a fellow multimillionaire, and continuing on in her slightly less-than-dream job.

Oh, woe is her, what is poor Summer to do? Of course, unless she tells Phyllis about Tara’s blackmail, there is very little her mom can do. So she just whines, and Phyllis tells her she knows her daughter is holding back. She’ll tell her eventually. And then they’ll get down to business.

Two Sides To Every Story

As Adam (Mark Grossman) worries to Nick (Joshua Morrow) about Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) mental health and how to break it to Conner (Judah Mackey), Chelsea dreams that Adam and Victor (Eric Braeden) intend to keep her locked up forever. And it’s not fair. All she did was try to murder Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Is that the kind of crime a person deserves fair and unusual punishment like incarceration for?

Come Back To Me

Nate (Sean Dominic) wants to get back together with Elena (Brytni Sarpy). She insists it’s only because she saved his life. He insists he’s in love with her. She has trouble believing it, after everything they’ve been through. We see her point. Then they make out. Then she turns down a job in Baltimore.

So this episode’s theme is women turning down professional advancement… for a man? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
