Both the genius reports at ChanceComm and Newman Media are blindsided when The National Inquisitor publishes a story revealing that Ashland only has six months left to live.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) wonder what that means for his spot on their board. Nikki questions her daughter about whether this is why Victoria has been sticking to Ashland like glue lately. Victoria gets appropriately huffy.

Ashland storms over to the Abbott house to accuse Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) of being the source. Tara gets appropriately huffy. She also uses it as yet another reason to bat her big, innocent, baby blue eyes at Kyle.

Young and the Restless Recap: Chelsea Lawson — Escape Room

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) finally figures out that her best chance for getting out of the mental hospital – without admitting she was faking being crazy all along – and being reunited with Conner (Judah Mackey) is to pretend to recover. She tells her dim doctor she is ready to put in the work!

Meanwhile, Adam is stressing about bringing Conner home from boarding school to the apartment they used to share with his mom. Victor has the obvious solution: Move onto the ranch. Victor would love to have his son and grandson under his thumb – er, under his roof – again.
