The Young and the Restless Recap (Day Ahead): Wednesday, June 27

The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Wednesday, June 27 features Jack’s plans going too far, a love story beginning again, and Ashley confirming trouble’s on its way!

Meddling Mama
The silence between Shauna (Camryn Hamm) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) is deafening, and all the adults get involved.

They set up a dinner to force the teens together but it doesn’t quite go as planned. Instead of it being about the kids, the conversation quickly turned into a family war.

Cat Fight!
The battle began with Lily (Christel Khalil) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) as they quipped about the pregnancy.

Everything Lily suggested (wine, tartar) was shot down for the good of the baby and it quickly got under Lily’s skin.

Yes, she’s well aware Hilary’s all about her bundle of joy but she reminded the mama-to-be the world doesn’t revolve around her. It took Devon (Bryton James) speaking up to shut his sister down. Unfortunately, that feud is nothing compared to what came next.

Jack Next Step
Jack (Peter Bergman) was on edge after his battle for Phillip’s body was thrown out of court and he was on a warpath.

So, when he saw Cane and the fam dining at the club he wasted no time injecting himself and his frustration into their good time.

Fireworks flew when Jack warned he wasn’t backing down and Cane stood his ground. The Chancellor CEO isn’t going to stand by and let Jack get his claws into Kay’s legacy.

Things came to a head when Ash (Eileen Davidson) arrived on the scene. Ashley and Abby dragged Jack away and tried to calm him down.

Sadly, Ashley’s efforts were for nothing. Jack is more determined than ever to prove Phillip is his dad and threatens to go so far as to put Dina (Marla Adams) on the stand if he has to!

Better Together
Speaking of Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Arturo (Jason Canela), the couple is back on and hotter than ever. With the whole bra incident cleared up, Abby’s ready to take the next step in their relationship and give romance a try.

Charlie and Shauna are also back on after they disappeared when the adults were feuding. They even changed their relationship status online and made it official.

JT’s Getting Close!
The club incident is nothing compared to what Ashley is dealing with at the office. She and Vicky (Amelia Heinle) went head to head more than once about Victor’s health secret and who’s leaking it to the press.

While Vicky stayed tight lipped about her dad’s ailments, she opened up about JT – well, at least to insist it isn’t him behind the scheme.

However, Vicky’s arguments came to a shocking end when Ashley informed her that JT just checked out of a hotel right outside the city and an eye witness confirms it’s him.
