The Young and the Restless Recap: Visions of Victor Danced In Nikki’s Head

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, December 24 features a day of love saving the day.

Saving Christmas
Billy (Jason Thompson) tried to make the best of a bad situation by spreading holiday cheer at Vicky’s house. He wrapped presents, cheered up the children, and even had a talk with Reed.

Clash of the Siblings
Over at the hospital, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) took turns holding vigil by their mother’s bedside. Each said and did everything they could to bring Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) back but to no avail.

They also worried about their father and wondered where on Earth he could be.

Nick offered his help at Newman, but Vicky took it as her brother stepping on her toes and shut him down on the spot. He has his own company to run and needs to leave hers alone!

Victor’s Love Saves Nikki
Trapped in her mind, Nikki did hear their words and relived Reed’s confession. Her life is hanging in the balance — she sat at a piano playing a sonata and fought walking into the white light.

Her children and grandchildren weren’t enough to stop her, but Victor was. She envisioned him coming to her and begging her to stay. They still have time, they still have love, and a long life ahead of them.

Dancing in Victor’s arms kept Nikki from the brink, but for how long?

A dark shadow appeared outside Nikki’s hospital room and it could mean trouble!

A Holiday Mishap
Over at the Abbott mansion, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola exchanged presents. Lola (Sasha Calle) opened a lovely purse and was excited for Kyle to open his new watch.

However, once she saw the expensive one already on his wrist, she had a mild freak-out about the financial distance between them.
