The Young and the Restless Recap for June 3, 2021
 Comments

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, June 3, 2021, is an early Father’s Day, as Adam and Nick give Victor a gift, while Victoria continues to vex him. Plus, Summer watches Kyle play Daddy to Harrison, and Billy taunts his ex-father-in-law.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Victor (Eric Braeden) is delighted that Nick (Joshua Morrow) has agreed to let Victor and Adam (Mark Grossman) advertise Newman Media in his housing development. (We have no idea why they think that’s a coup, but we’re not Media Mogul Victor Newman.) He says he dreams of a day when his sons are friends as well as business partners. Adam and Nick make awkward noises of no commitment.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) stops by and points out that Newman Media looks to be out to get Newman Enterprises. Is Victor worried about how that will come off to Victoria (Amelia Heinle)? Not really, Victor shrugs.

Other Side Of Town

Victor pretends to Billy (Jason Thompson) that he doesn’t mind him publishing a story revealing how he was willing to let Ashland (Richard Burgi) die to get his hands on Ashland’s company. Victoria pretends to Billy that she doesn’t mind him moving in with Lily (Christel Khalil).

Nikki doesn’t buy it. But she has bigger fish to fry when Ashland stops by where Nikki and Victoria are having lunch, and it’s obvious her daughter and the not-dead mogul have formed a connection. They make dinner plans.

Daddy’s Boy

Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) wears a white dress to take Harrison to the park, sit on green grass, and get him chocolate ice cream. Summer (Hunter King), who previously chatted with Sharon (Sharon Case) about step-parenting and been assured that she should do what’s best for her, watches the little family from a distance.

We’re supposed to think she’s disturbed by Harrison calling Kyle “Daddy.” But we’re more horrified by the white dress, the grass, and the chocolate. Later, Ashland needs to speak with Tara… alone. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
