The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 29, 2021, sees Victoria Newman finally demanding answers Ashland Locke has refused to give her, while Nikki Newman has a threat for Billy Abbott, and Jack Abbott takes Phyllis Summers for a ride.

No matter how many people subtly asked her just how much she knew about her husband to be, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) kept insisting that she already knew everything she needed to. Until that is, she couldn’t ignore the obvious anymore.
After a tense dinner with her fiancé, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), Victoria snapped and wanted to know what he was hiding? His health? Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) digging into Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) past? Or the lawyer who helped Ashland buy TV stations from his mentor…then disappeared?
Get Back, Jack
Billy (Jason Thompson) was the one who gave Victoria the head’s up about the disbarred lawyer, and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is fed up with him butting into her daughter’s business. She levels a couple of Victor-level threats Billy’s way. And uninvites him from Victoria’s wedding. Can she do that?

Fly the Friendly Skies
With Nick stuck in Atlanta due to a grounded flight, Jack (Peter Bergman) is ready to whisk Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) off to Milan all on his own. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) can come too. But then, oops, Nick is back in town. (Quick flight from Atlanta!).
Jack pretends to be pleased. While Nick promises news. He texts Ashland demanding to see him. Ashland shows up – with Victoria. And Victoria lets loose on her brother for going against her expressed wishes to back off.
