The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, April 16, 2021, closes out a busy week in Genoa City with Rey having his suspicions confirmed, Faith getting her slap on the wrist confirmed, and Phyllis pushing Jack to confirm that Summer is an innocent victim of Sally’s.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has some hot news for Rey (Jordi Vilasuso): She stopped by Victor’s (Eric Braeden) and saw an open bottle of Adam’s (Mark Grossman) favorite Scotch. Obviously, he’s hiding at their dad’s house! Rey hightails it over there and accuses Victor of aiding and abetting a criminal.
Victor points the finger at Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), instead. He also wants to know if Rey has a search warrant. The question tells Rey everything he needs to know. Victor accuses Victoria of betraying the family. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is forced to step in yet again.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is video-chatting with a weirdly winky Conner (Judah Mackey) and telling his headmaster she’ll be filing a restraining order against Adam when Rey stops by her place. She keeps pushing the ‘Adam and Sharon (Sharon Case) planned this together’ narrative.
Young and Innocent
Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) have their hands full with Faith (Reylynn Caster). As expected, she only has to pay a fine and do some community service to have an underage, drunken driving conviction expunged from her record. Her parents tell Faith how amazing she is. Back at school, a seemingly 30-year-old high-schooler is mean to Faith, so Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) steps in.
Look In the Mirror
Faith’s older sister, Summer (Hunter King) is taking off her clothes to distract Kyle (Michael Mealor) from answering a call from Tara. Good try, but Tara calls Kyle back to tell him she and Ashland had a fight… and she has no time to talk right now.
Summer’s mom, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is explaining to Jack (Peter Bergman) how the conflict with Sally (Courtney Hope) was all Sally’s fault. Why Summer is as innocent as… as… as Faith! Rich, blonde, Newman girls should never be held responsible for their actions! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
