The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, April 21, 2020, features the reason no one should ever tell Victoria – or Nikki – anything, and why Victor needs to handle everything himself if he wasn’t to keep a crisis under control. Plus, Chloe’s baby shower was the site for a critical question.
After Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) once again told Adam (Mark Grossman) how wonderful he is, Adam spoke to reporters about taking over for Victor (Eric Braeden).
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) worried that his secrets were hurting Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Victor told his wife he has everything under control.
When Victoria stops by, Nikki spilled the beans about what Victor told her off-screen. Also off-screen. “Oh,” Victoria said, “that explains everything.”
Victor barged in on Alyssa and warned that if she goes ahead with printing the story about her dad’s murder, Victor would ruin her life. He explains what really happened the night AJ died. Off-screen. Also off-screen. “Oh,” Alyssa said, “that explains everything.”
Victoria hightailed it over to Adam and taunted him about how she knows a secret he doesn’t. Adam went stomping over to Victor’s.
Meanwhile, Victoria went to see Alyssa, who explained she had to leave town… Victor is after her.
Adam yelled at Victor, who played it cool. Nikki was the hysterical woman who blurted out that Victor is just trying to protect him! Finally, on-screen, Victor told Adam that Adam was the one who killed AJ. Uhm… surprise?
At Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) baby shower, Esther (Kate Linder) felt a need to bring up Delia. Connor (Judah Mackey) gave Chloe a gift for the baby, and she predicted her son will look up to Connor.
Chloe asked Chelsea to be the baby’s godmother. Because she’s so, you know, holy. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
