The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, April 23, 2021, picks up with Victor offering to call 9-1-1 for an ailing Ashland… as soon as he signs his company over to Victor. Plus, Summer confronts Tara, Kyle has a brainstorm, Nikki has advice for Victoria, and Lily and Devon talk relationship drama.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Ashland (Richard Burgi) signs the papers Victor (Eric Braeden) demands of him, but it’s Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) who ends up calling an ambulance. She is horrified by Victor’s brutality, but he explains how it was all Ashland’s fault, for going back on their original agreement.
Nikki is disturbed enough by the encounter to urge Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to give up on the media company. Give Victor and Adam (Mark Grossman) the win. Victoria rushes over to Billy (Jason Thompson) with the news. She then rushes over to yell at Victor. Victor, who almost let a man die on his couch, doesn’t like Victoria’s tone.
Business Matters
Summer (Hunter King) and Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) agree that they need to keep Kyle (Michael Mealor) away from Ashland, which means keeping him away from Jabot.
Kyle comes up with a brilliant idea to keep the entire company from collapsing. How did Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) ever manage without him? But then they learn about Ashland’s heart attack.
Kyle rushes over to see Tara. (Apparently, it took her as long to get the news and head for the hospital as it took Summer to find out about the heart attack, travel from The Grand Phoenix to Jabot, tell Kyle, and for Kyle to leave Jabot and make it to The Grand Phoenix, where Tara is still standing in the same spot. She is really concerned about her husband!)
Love Life
Devon (Bryton James) still doesn’t like the idea of Lily (Christel Khalil) dating Billy. Billy is late for their date. He’s chasing the story Victoria told him about Victor. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
