The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 23, 2019, reveals the role Michael was playing in Adam’s frame-up of Victoria. That led Nikki to call for help from the person everyone assumed was originally behind Victor’s death. Plus, Devon pushed back against the claims over Katherine’s will.
Pointing the Finger
Adam (Mark Grossman) insisted on seeing Conner (Judah McKay), so Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) caved and brought her son to the park for a visit with his dad.
Adam also insisted on Victoria (Amelia Heinle) being arrested for Victor’s (Eric Braeden) situation. Seriously, how much evidence did a man need to plant before he got his way?
Unfortunately for Adam, he couldn’t get Victoria arrested all on his own. For that, he needed Michael’s (Christian J. LeBlanc) help. Michael thought he was out from under Adam’s thumb when he abused his power to get the charges against Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) dropped. But now Adam has proof that could get Fen arrested for drug use.
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) had just returned from getting Fen squared away in rehab when Michael told her about the threat they were facing. It was not the welcoming news she was expecting.
The Last Act
Michael told Adam there may be evidence, but no motive. Adam… what’s the word… didn’t care. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) arrested Victoria as she was planning strategy with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Billy (Jason Thompson).
A horrified Nikki high-tailed it back to the ranch, where she called out that their plan had fallen apart. Victor entered the room. Nobody gasp.
Familiar Face
Devon (Bryton James) told Jill (Jess Walton) about Hilary lookalike Amanda (Mishael Morgan), and they wonder who was trying to throw him off balance.
Devon blew the lawyer off. While she seemed to give him space, that probably won’t last long. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listing for air times.
