The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, April 22, 2021, spotlights Victor falling back on old habits – to Nikki’s dismay, while Jabot is under siege, and Lola’s IQ drops multiple points.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

When Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) accuses Victor (Eric Braeden) of favoring Adam (Mark Grossman) over his other children, Victor calls her disloyal. When Victoria (Amelia Heinle) accuses Victor of undermining her for Adam’s sake, Victor calls her disloyal.

Nikki is forced to tell Victoria that Victor is going behind her back, meeting with Ashland (Richard Burgi) to undermine her buying his company.

And how is Victor doing that? By waving a contract in front of an ailing Ashland’s face. Is the mogul having a heart attack? Aw, that’s too bad. Victor will be happy to call him an ambulance. Just as soon as Ashland signs on the dotted line.

Extortion, what might that word mean? They didn’t cover it in the American orphanage where Victor somehow picked up a German accent.

Stop Work Order

Kyle (Michael Mealor) bursts in on Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashland’s meeting, all hyped to throw himself on his sword and confess to the affair with Tara (Elizabeth Leiner). Tara calls him off and leaves with her husband. Later, Jack learns that Jabot warehouses across the country are being closed down due to health violations. He knows who’s behind this!

Summer (Hunter King) reminds that Ashland is MUCH worse than her grandfather. Just as her grandfather is threatening to let a man die on his couch.

Stupid Is as Stupid Does

Lola (Sasha Calle) conjures up an imaginary aunt that she needs Nate (Sean Dominic) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) to diagnose. She makes up some symptoms. Then she makes up several names. For the same aunt. Lola isn’t this stupid. And Nate and Elena aren’t either. Her matchmaking doesn’t work. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
