The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, October 7 features another stop on Victor’s tour of explaining why what he did was best for everyone — no matter what Summer, Jack, or Victoria might think. Plus, Chelsea got help from a very unlikely source.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) told Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that now that he’s not dead, he’s also decided he’s all better — and ready to step back into running Newman Enterprises. Nikki was worried about Victoria (Amelia Heinle), but Victor pointed out he never handed her the reins. She was just keeping his chair warm. Vicky will be fine.
But, Then Again, Too Few To Mention
Victor stopped by the Abbott to not exactly apologize to Summer (Hunter King), but rather to explain why she should be grateful to have helped Victor achieve his goals — no matter how much it may have hurt her. No harm, no foul. Summer praised how supportive Jack (Peter Bergman) had been… then storms out.
Jack admitted that he mourned Victor, too, and now felt like he was played for a sucker. Victor didn’t care how Jack felt and told him not to judge. As with all things, this was only about Victor.
Public Enemy
Victoria was humiliated when, after a day of cleaning up Victor’s messes, her dad publicly announced his return to work. She rushed out while Nick (Joshua Morrow) told his father his actions were unforgivable. At the office, Victoria slashed Victor’s portrait and vowed revenge.
The Young and the Restless Recap: Shrink Wrap
A reluctant Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) called Sharon (Sharon Case) for professional help with a brooding Connor (Judah MacKay). Sharon wore a very, very yellow blazer — maybe to blind the boy — but the two agreed to work together for Connor’s sake. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
