The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, March 1 leaped into the new month as Mariah testified, Devon resisted, and Summer made a sacrifice she’s not feeling sure about.
Carpet Bombing
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) took the stand and tried to do as little damage as possible, claiming she was primarily passed out after playing bartender the night JT (Thad Luckinbill) disappeared and didn’t know much about what happened.
Christine (Lauralee Bell) took Mariah through the night and got her to admit that Sharon (Sharon Case) claimed she, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heile), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) were cleaning out Victoria’s closet – and that included a very big rug. At a party. Yeah, it did sound stupid said out loud.
Mariah thought she was done when it was Michael’s (Christian J. LeBlanc) turn to cross-examine. He wanted to know where, when, and how Mariah first saw the video of her mom and the rest.
Date Night
Devon (Bryton James) and Ana (Lorna Lott) were tested to see if they might be liver donor matches for Lola (Sasha Calle) and Devon offered to put out a call for donors nationally, he can even give them a ride in his jet.
As always, talk turned to Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Devon insisted he wasn’t ready to date again, then asked Ana about her own love life. She said she once mixed business and pleasure, and it wasn’t good. Oh, and also, she’s still in debt.
Testing Me
Summer (Hunter King) also got tested, and Kyle (Michael Mealor) assumed it was because she was in love with him. Summer countered that not everything is about him. Though, this? Yeah, it kind of is. Later, Summer asked Nate (Brooks Darnell) just how dangerous the procedure would be if she were a match.
