The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, December 9, 2020, features Amanda informing Billy how things are going to be from now on – so he goes running to Lily for sympathy, while Nick tells Phyllis he thinks he’s gotten Victoria to agree to handing over the hotel to her – while Victoria nurtures other plans. Plus, Elena and Nate share an awkward first official date, and Abby and Chance luxuriate in their honeymoon.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) makes it clear to Billy (Jason Thompson) that just because they’re friends doesn’t mean he can lie to her as his lawyer. From now until he’s freed, they are not friends – if he expects her to defend him.
A put out Billy goes running to Lily (Christel Khalil), giving her a single, romantic rose to make sure she’s still on his side. Lily, who just had to explain to Devon (Bryton James) why she’s sticking by a friend, remains charmed. She also suggests she and Billy find the real shooter even before he goes to trial.
Miss Communication
Nick (Joshua Morrow) uses the one arrow he has in his quiver – telling his sister she’s acting like Victor (Eric Braeden) – to try and convince Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to hand controlling interest in The Grand Phoenix over to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). He comes home and tells Phyllis he thinks he got Victoria’s buy-in. Meanwhile, Victoria calls her business manager and tells him to push Phyllis out of the hotel – then sell it.
Cavorting Couples
Devon walks in on Elena (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate (Sean Dominic) having dinner. Elena tells Nate she’s not going to let that stop them from having a second date. Devon goes home… and calls Amanda to invite her over for dinner.
In honeymoon land, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance (Justin Gaston) talk names. First, hers. She’s decided to go by Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor. And then baby names. Will it be Agatha and Dashiell, or Cary and Diana? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
