The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, May 28, 2020, gives viewers two classic villains in a flashback from December 15, 2005. Sheila plans to kill Lauren on her honeymoon, while Tom goes along with her plan – until he doesn’t. Meanwhile, catch the beginning of Nick and Phyllis, Victoria and JT, and even Sharon and Brad!

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) blames Lauren (Tracey Bregman) for the loss of Sheila’s husband, Scott, and her son, Scotty. The fact that Scott was Lauren’s husband and Scotty her son doesn’t fit into Sheila’s blame game.

She plans to kill Lauren on her honeymoon with Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) by blowing up the yacht they’re sailing on. She gets Michael’s stepfather, Tom (Roscoe Born) to help.

First, Tom sends John (Jerry Douglas) a letter telling him that Tom is still married to John’s wife, Gloria (Judith Chapman). Then he helps grab Lauren. But when Tom learns that Sheila plans to kill him and frame him for Lauren’s death, he turns the tables. It’s villain versus villain!

About Last Night

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) agree that they didn’t have the sex the previous night that they actually did have. Nick is still a married man!

Sharon (Sharon Case) and Brad (Don Dimaont), meanwhile, agree that “close calls don’t count” about the sex they didn’t have the previous night. She’s a married woman! And Brad is dating Victoria (Amelia Heinle), anyway.

Victoria is flirting with JT (Thad Luckinbill), by telling him she’s thinking of hiring a new security firm. JT makes a pitch to keep the job. Then, he returns to the Chancellor Mansion and makes a pitch for Mackenzie to move in with him.

This is all before JT turns into a crazy, abusive jerk deserving of death. So… three villains in one? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
