The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, December 24, 2019 rings in Christmas Eve with various characters making plans for the future.
Chelsea and Nick tried to navigate Christmas Day, Paul and Chance discussed his plans for 2020, while Summer wonders what Theo has planned for Lola. Plus, Billy continued his endless soul searching, and Devon promised Elena a surprise for New Year’s Eve.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) invited Summer (Hunter King) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to celebrate Christmas with him. Next, he invited Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor (Judah Mackey). Chelsea asked if Adam (Mark Grossman) can come, too — after all, Nick will have his ex and co-parent there. Oh, heck, why not?
Chance (Danny Boaz) asked Paul (Doug Davidson) if there is work for him in Genoa City. Paul was open to the idea but noted that Chance had a tendency never to stay in one place long. Chance admitted he isn’t sure what he wants.
Billy (Jason Thompson) isn’t sure of what he wants either. Or who he is. He continued jumping down the throats of those who casually ask who he is, like Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis.
Phyllis also wanted to know what Chance was talking to Paul about. Unlike Billy, Chance just blew her off, instead of blowing his stack. Phyllis felt challenged.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) managed to bring up Theo (Tyler Johnson) even as he and Lola (Sasha Calle) were decorating their tree. Oh, and he also remembered he once had a mom!
Theo bitched to Summer about smart women falling for Kyle, and Summer picked up that he’s more than fond of Lola. Theo wants her! Theo wants Kyle’s whole life! (Isn’t it convenient he’s now an Abbott!)
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) has the days after Christmas off! Devon (Bryton James) promises to blow her mind! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
