The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, October 24 features Traci making a demand about the future – by invoking the past – while Cane got terrible news about Lily.
Remember When
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) apologized to Billy (Jason Thompson) about what she allowed Kyle (Michael Mealor) to do to him. He believed she’s sincerely sorry, but refused to forgive her.
Meanwhile, Traci (Beth Maitland) attempted to question Kyle about what he and Jack (Peter Bergman) were up to the day before with Dina. (Traci already knew, she was just messing with him.)
Traci called a meeting of all her siblings, plus Kyle and Abby (Melissa Ordway). They took a stroll down memory lane, as Traci recalls their childhoods. Jack was Dina’s (Marla Adams) favorite, and Ashley was John’s. This isn’t news to anyone.
They recalled John and Dina fighting, and their mom leaving because she was unhappy and claimed their marriage was over. The kids would be better off without a pair of fighting parents.
In the present day, Traci whined about how they’ve all disappointed John, who was a saint, and let down Dina, all of whose sins should now be forgiven because… Traci said so.
Traci continued guilting her relatives, and demanded that Jack confess to what he’s done. Jack grimaced, but then admitted he destroyed the document that would give Ashley control over all her Jabot patents. Everyone was dutifully shocked.
All By Myself
Cane (Daniel Goddard) learned that Lily (Christel Khalil) got into a fight with some other inmates and has been put into solitary confinement for her own protection.
He begged the warden to let Cane see her, but she invoked the rules and said Lily will have no visitors until further notice. Nate (Brooks Darnell) was also there for some reason. We’re sure he’ll have an opinion – and unsolicited advice… shortly.
