The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, December 18, 2020, heads into the holiday season with good news for Billy, bad news for Nate, and a twinge of jealousy for Victoria.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
The Genoa City Police Department did their due diligence, conducted an investigation, and arrested Billy (Jason Thompson) for trying to kill Adam (Mark Grossman) – but hitting Chance (Donny Boaz) instead.
Then Lily (Christel Khalil) did some snooping on her own and told Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to check out Alyssa’s (Maria DiDomenico) room instead. Rey listened to this random civilian, broke into Alyssa’s room – what’s a warrant? – and found gloves with gunpowder residue on them. Rey arrested Alyssa. We never got to hear why she held onto them in the first place.
Meanwhile, over at the Chancellor Mansion, Chance (Donny Boaz) told Abby (Melissa Ordway) that Billy had been released. We then cut to Billy in jail – just hearing from Michael (Christel Khalil) that charges were being dropped and he would be free to go. Chance is psychic!
Because Victor (Eric Braeden) is not psychic, DA Baldwin takes the time to break the news to him personally. Victor wants to know why he wasn’t filled in first – you know, before anyone actually involved in the case.
Billy is processed in record time and he celebrates with all the loved ones who believed in him. He asks to speak to Lily privately. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) makes a frowny face. Then she does some glaring Lily and Billy’s way. Billy thanks Lily. Victoria doesn’t like that either.
Who Am I?
Nate (Sean Dominic) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) decorate her Christmas tree. Nate frets over what will happen if he can’t operate again. Again. Elena assures him he can still be a doctor. Again. Look at the pretty tree, everybody! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
