The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, May 9, 2019, is a whirlwind of activity as first Lola, then Abby, learned Mia was the one who attacked Abby – and who she was really gunning for. Plus, Summer schemed to keep Kyle from Lola, and Mariah threw a tantrum over Tessa’s future.
Loose Lips Sink Ships
Arturo (Jason Canela) told Lola (Sasha Calle) he and Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) were moving back to Miami. Arturo blurted out that if the baby turned out not to be his, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) would send Mia to jail, and Lola figured out that Mia pushed her into the Abbott pool!
Lola confronted her sister-in-law and guessed that Mia wasn’t gunning for Lola – she mistook her for Abby (Melissa Ordway). Abby overheard and said she was going to call the police. Mia begged Lola to stop her!
Later, Mia ordered Arturo to stop Abby. Abby said only Lola could press charges and Arturo would have to talk his baby sister out of it. Lola admitted she didn’t want her niece or nephew to be born in jail.
Going Social
Kyle (Michael Mealor) turned down the chance to party with Summer (Hunter King) and one of their social influencers, so he could go see Lola. Summer complained to Jack (Peter Bergman) who agreed that, yes, Kyle should be working – with her. Kyle went back to see his distressed girlfriend.
My Way
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) wasn’t pleased with Ana’s (Loren Lott) ideas to rebrand Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) as a sexy redhead and made her displeasure known – vocally. Tessa chastised her girlfriend. Mariah admitted she was scared that if Tessa became a star, there would be no time for Mariah.
Afterthought
Devon (Bryton James) apologized for kissing Elena (Brytni Sarpy), explaining he was confused, then asked Elena to dinner. Meanwhile, Jack and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) talked work and Dina (Marla Adams). The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local station for air times.
