The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, October 19, 2020, finds the Abbotts remembering good – and bad – times with Dina, while Summer lurks and accuses, and Faith mopes and lies. Also, Chance is afraid the innocent matter of him committing and covering up a crime might keep him from enforcing the law as a GCPD cop.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Dina’s (Marla Adams) death prompts her children to have flashbacks about her, only most of them are from only a year or two ago, so fans don’t get to see classic 80s Dina (Marla Adams).
Jack (Peter Bergman) once again decides that his mother believed in love overall. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) rewrites some history to believe Dina did love her, after all, and only hurt her by accident. (Forget the whole lying about Ashley’s paternity thing, how about when she went after the guy Ashley was dating?) And Traci (Beth Maitland), as usual, tells herself her mother cared about her even when she didn’t know who she was.
Kyle tells Theo (Tyler Johnson), he is put out that he wasn’t invited to say goodbye to the women he met a few months ago. He blames Kyle for not being viewed as a part of a family he has gone out of his way to say he doesn’t want to be pulled into.
My Way
Sharon (Sharon Case) tells her daughters and Nick (Joshua Morrow) that her surgery was a success and she’s cancer-free.
Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) is lurking about, spying on Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle). When Kyle’s ex-wife makes him laugh, Summer accuses her of still wanting him. She comes off as completely unhinged.
Cover Up
Chance (Donny Boaz) is afraid he won’t be able to join the police force because he killed a guy in Las Vegas for reasons we are still unsure of. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
