The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, July 16 hits the midpoint of summer with Stitch Rayburn whipping Abby Chancellor and Tessa Porter into a frenzy over a missing Mariah Copeland, while Billy Abbott yells at Victoria Newman over her new roommate, Sally Spectra needs help from Tara Locke, and Devon Hamilton throws his weight around.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

What might have possibly happened to Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Stitch (Sean Carrigan) shows up on Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) doorstep, looking and sounding terribly concerned.

Hey, could this be connected to that time Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) freed her sister, Crystal, from a sex-trafficking cult? Those sound like the kind of people who would kidnap a pregnant woman in revenge. That’s the only suspect Stitch can think of, certainly.

Young and Restless: Think Of the Children

Billy (Jason Thompson) doesn’t want Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to bring a dying man into her home, to live with his children. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) concedes that Billy might have a point. But, eh, what’s life without risks?

The Young and the Restless Recap: Let’s Talk Tara

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) plays the oh, my poor Summer (Hunter King) card due to Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) living at the Abbott mansion, but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is so in love with his newfound grandson, he doesn’t have time to weep bitter tears about a grown woman who made her own decision to leave town. Phyllis drops it.

At the same time, Sally (Courtney Hope) is bringing Tara news of Phyllis and Billy’s alliance. They both need to neutralize the pairing. Tara turns on the waterworks as soon as Jack comes home.

Y&R: Threat Level

While Amanda (Mishael Morgan) turns to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for background info on her dad – and a bit of help, Devon (Bryton James) turns on Sutton Ames (Jack Landron), warning that he is younger, more handsome – and richer. And he can break the old man if he feels like it. Don’t make him feel like it.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes. For more about what’s coming up in Genoa City, check out all the latest that’s been posted on Y&R spoilers.
