The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, June 1, 2020, kicks off a week dedicated to the Abbott family, as Traci prepares to marry Brad… while still managing to be jealous of Ashley. Plus, Kay and Dina are giddy at the possibility of embarrassing Jill further, and Nikki sneaks drinks away from her family. The episode originally aired on January 11, 1991.

Traci (Beth Maitland) is all excited to finally be re-marrying Brad (Don Diamont) – former pool-boy turned Jabot executive. (Who needs an MBA when you’ve got abs?) But then she catches his ex-love, Ashley (Brenda Epperson), giving the groom-to-be a hug (while discussing how much her sister loves him). And Traci instantly gets snarky.
Seriously, if she is so insecure about the man she’s remarrying, maybe the wedding isn’t a great idea. If she can’t trust him, and she can’t trust her sister, why does she think a marriage license will stop them if the morning of the ceremony won’t?

Two Versus One
Jill (Jess Walton) is convinced Dina (Marla Adams) isn’t just back in Genoa City for her youngest daughter’s wedding – it’s not like she’s given a damn about her kids before. Jill is convinced Dina is here to break up Jill and John (Jerry Douglas). And, what do you know – she’s right!
Dina and Kay (Jeanne Cooper) are putting their heads together to figure out how they can throw a monkey wrench into all of Jill’s plans. They’re both doing it for spite. Dina had John and let him go. And Kay had never forgiven Jill for stealing Phillip from her. Basically, they’re both being petty. And tacky.
Drink Up
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) fights the urge to take a drink. Jack (Peter Bergman) comes home and yells at her about it. He blames Victor (Eric Braeden). He’s not wrong. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
