The Young and the Restless Recap: Sharon Gets Bad News

Sharon (Sharon Case) is home after breast cancer surgery, and everybody is making a fuss. Until Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) spills about seeing Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) together. Nick admits they’re a couple again. Sharon has more important things on her mind. Later, Tessa looks at Mariah (Camryn Grimes) like she expects to get beaten for the slip.

Sharon, for her part, is more worried about the scars from her surgery. Mariah assures her Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) will love her, no matter what.

Girl Fight

Nick realizes Phyllis is about to pull a dirty trick on Abby (Melissa Ordway). Not wanting to be trapped between his liver and his girlfriend, Nick offers to trade Abby any building of his, for the hotel. This is good since Amanda (Mishael Morgan) wasn’t thrilled about Phyllis’ plan to plant dinosaur bones (which, in Genoa City, you can buy anywhere) on Abby’s construction site.

Help Wanted

Lily (Christel Khalil) and Billy (Jason Thompson) agree on hiring Amanda but aren’t sure about Theo (Tyler Johnson). Billy doesn’t think the guy is trustworthy and, when Theo comes to make his pitch, challenges him about being fired from Jabot.

Theo comes clean but then is honest about the circumstances. He says Jabot wasn’t a good fit and takes the blame. Billy appreciates the honesty and wants to bring him on board, but Lily is concerned that he’s cheated to get to the top before. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
