The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 17, 2020, gives Adam some stiff competition in the self-pity department. He’s been the undefeated champion for weeks, with Chelsea a close runner up. But now, we’ve got Elena and Lola entering the fray. May the whiniest citizen win!
Adam (Mark Grossman) is still upset that Billy (Jason Thompson) might want to hold him responsible for crimes he actually committed. Chance (Donny Boaz) is upset about that too, since one of the crimes Adam actually committed, Chance committed, too.
Not to worry, it’s Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to the rescue! She assures Adam she has no qualms about using her past relationship with Billy to their advantage. Their past relationship is Chelsea drugging Billy and getting pregnant with Johnny, whom Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is now raising, but, sure, call it a relationship.
Before she gets to Billy, though, Chelsea decides to manipulate Theo (Tyler Johnson) for a bit. He’s her ‘in’ to Chancellor Communications!
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) is upset that Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is Hilary’s twin, and this is making Devon (Bryton James) remember his perfect, dead wife. Elena more or less tells Amanda to take one of the most momentous revelations in her life and stifle her feelings about it. She’s upsetting Elena and Devon.
Amanda leaves and finds a more sympathetic friend in Billy. Elena sniffles about how Amanda is making Devon think about Hilary and this is giving Elena sads. The solution is to cut off Amanda!
Lola (Sasha Calle) is upset that Theo doesn’t behave exactly the way she would like him to. She is upset that she saw him flirting with Chelsea. In her restaurant! Mariah (Camryn Grimes) tries to get her to chill. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
