The Young and the Restless recap for October 7-11, 2019 features some Sin City shenanigans and the ultimate ultimatum. Read on to see what you missed during this exciting Genoa City and Las Vegas week.
Most of the action this week took place outside of Genoa City and inside a pokey little gambling room at a Las Vegas hotel. Adam (Mark Grossman) was back to using his Spyder alias and cleaning up at the poker table.
However, he wasn’t prepared for Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) arrival nor was he ready for her challenge of four-card draw and the stakes that she was proposing. If he won she promised to split town. But if she won he had to answer every single question she asked with an honest response.
Her four of a kind beat his full house and despite accusations of cheating he submitted to Phyllis’ version of Mastermind. Their Q&A session was interrupted by Cane (Daniel Goddard) who had some questions about Chance Chancellor.
Phyllis’ curiosity was immediately piqued but Cane couldn’t get a straight answer from Adam and she couldn’t get either man to open up about what they knew. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) got a major wakeup call when heard from a reporter that Victor (Eric Braeden) was poised to take back the CEO position at Newman Enterprises. She confronted her father and he confirmed the rumor.

In response, Victoria took her frustrations out on Victor’s portrait with the aid of his gold-plated letter opener as a dart. Later, she scheduled a meeting with the real McCoy and laid down an ultimatum: Unseat her as the company’s steward and lose her forever or continue his retirement and leave her in peace.
Suitably impressed with his offspring’s hardline bartering. Victor agreed that Victoria should continue to reign as CEO and he bestowed his blessings upon her.
Connor’s continued behavioral problems unnerved Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and she once again turned to Sharon (Sharon Case), who only made slight inroads with the boy.
Elsewhere, Devon (Bryton James) kicked Theo (Tyler Jonson) when he made a play for Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) job. He then got a little too flirty with Lola (Sasha Calle), ruining any progress the two had made towards a real friendship. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
