The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, April 29 reveals what’s wrong with Faith, while Sally talks circles around Tara.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Faith (Reylynn Caster) collapses and is rushed to the hospital. There, Nate (Sean Dominic) tells Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) that Faith is fighting an infection that is damaging her kidneys.
When he explains that the treatment could require dialysis, Nick, in true Victor (Eric Braeden) style, announces that it’s not an option – no child can be expected to endure several hours of treatment a week (ignoring how many thousands of children who are not a Newman go through it daily).
Another option is a kidney transplant. Faith has a rare blood type. Finding a donor could be a challenge… despite her being related to half of Genoa City… some of whom presumably have the same blood type… and the Newmans are swimming in money… which goes a long way towards finding a donor. But, yeah, sure, oh, noes, Faith may die!
I’ve Got Your Back
Sally (Courtney Hope) uses coded language to let Tara (Elizabeth Lenier) know that Ashland (Richard Burgi) is attacking Jabot because he suspects Tara and Kyle (Michael Mealor) of having an affair. She makes it clear that if Ashland keeps at it, Sally will be forced to reveal what else she knows about Tara and Kyle. If Tara gets her drift. Tara pretends not to. Sally ain’t buying it.
Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) is all a-twitter about Sally spending time with Jack (Peter Bergman). Kyle is sure his dad is just being polite, he has no more interest in here.
Jack tells himself the same thing. He is just being polite. But then Sally tells him that she has deep feelings for him… and they aren’t going away. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
