The Young and the Restless Recap: Sally Has a Proposal For Tara

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, June 9, 2021, passes the blame as Adam and Rey square off over Chelsea, Nikki wants to know what – or who – is making Victoria so perky, and Summer and Kyle play family as Sally offers Tara a chance to win it all.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) warns Adam that she won’t stand for any of his past shenanigans if he’s going to be working with Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). Adam promises he’ll play nice.

Then he marches over to the coffee house so he can yell at Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) about visiting Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Rey won’t back down. Adam storms off. Nick urges Rey to focus on Sharon and their second honeymoon, not on Adam. But then Michael wants to see him.

Later, Nikki notices Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has a new bounce in her step. She wonders what’s causing it. Victoria won’t confess, but she does allow Nikki to overhear a very flirty phone call Victoria shares with Ashland (Richard Burgi). Nikki wants details!

Adam visits Chelsea at the hospital and tells her he talked to Conner (Judah Mackey), and Adam will be bringing him home to Genoa City.

We Are Family

Summer (Hunter King) proves what a good sport she is by spending the afternoon hanging out with Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Harrison – she even takes pictures!

Meanwhile, Sally (Courtney Hope) is laying out a plan where she gets Summer a job out of town, and Tara (Elizabeth Lenier) gets Kyle to fall back in love with her. Easy-peasy. Tara doesn’t want to hear about it.

However, when she gets home and sees the happy threesome – without her – Tara has second thoughts. She gets a text from Ashland saying he wants to meet with her and Kyle – and no lawyers. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
