The Young and the Restless Recap: Phyllis Spills All To Nick

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, December 26, 2019, features Adam dropping a bombshell on Chelsea while Phyllis did the same for Nick, Theo laid some truths on Summer, and Billy continued mumbling to himself.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Adam (Mark Grossman) told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) he wanted her to come with him and Connor (Judah Mackey) to celebrate Christmas on his mom’s farm. He then told Chelsea he loves her and they should get back together. Chelsea insisted she loves Nick (Joshua Morrow). Adam didn’t believe it, and then changed tactics, demanding to know where Chelsea intends to be when Connor wakes up on Christmas morning.

At the same time, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) told Nick she wouldn’t be joining him and Summer (Hunter King) for Christmas if Adam was also in attendance. Nick pressed as to why they aren’t friends anymore, and Phyllis let him know that Adam wanted Phyllis to seduce Nick as a way to get Chelsea.

Nick proved he’s as good as Victor (Eric Braeden) at making things all about himself when his main concern is why Phyllis didn’t tell him earlier. Eventually, he decided to use this revelation as another way to bring down Adam.

Summer Time: Publicity Campaign

Theo (Tyler Johnson) had a completely unoriginal idea about piggy-backing Jabot onto people’s charity works during the holiday season, and Summer thought it’s brilliant. She wanted to roll it out right away.

Theo wondered if they shouldn’t check with Kyle (Michael Mealor). He wondered if Summer is so determined to prove that Theo is in love with Lola (Sasha Calle) so she can then lay claim to Kyle.

Last Minute

Billy (Jason Thompson) begged off Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) family ski trip to work. Victoria said she thinks she understands him better now than ever before. Like a petulant adolescent, Billy thought about how no one understands the depth that is him.
