The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, February 17, 2020, pushes past the post-Valentine’s Day doldrums by leaping right into Phyllis pulling strings, Lola proving that living well is the best revenge, and Devon spinning in place.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was feeling smugly in the catbird’s seat, as she uses what she learned from eavesdropping on Chance (Donny Boaz) and Adam (Mark Grossman) in Las Vegas to ask them “innocent” questions that left both wondering what she really knows.
She needled Abby (Melissa Ordway) about the man she’s dating and wondered what Adam is up to. But she took the bull by the horns when she told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) she has a proposition for her — and Chels’ better listen up… if she doesn’t want Adam to go to prison.
Moving On Up
Kyle (Michael Mealor) was all apologetic when he ran into Lola (Sasha Calle), telling her she can say whatever she likes to him but leave poor, innocent Summer (Hunter King) out of it. Lola wasn’t particularly interested in talking to either of them, which confused Kyle since he assumed he was the only thing Lola had going on in her life.
Lola also told Abby that she’s going to open a restaurant in Miami — but will continue working at Society, too. Starting a completely new business venture in another state… how hard could it be, working remotely?
No News Is Dull News For Devon
Chance told Devon (Bryton James) that his men… almost caught up to Colin (Tristan Rogers). Devon took the update as the absolutely useless piece of information it was.
Later, he channeled his frustrations by lecturing Adam about how he should be nicer to his dad. Devon would love to have Neil (Kristoff St. John) back. As if Neil and Victor (Eric Braeden) were even in the same parenting league… The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
