The Young and the Restless Recap: Paul To the Rescue

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, July 3 puts an end to Paul and Christine week with Paul coming upon what could be the end of Christine. Plus, Damon is the hottest scientist in town, wanted by multiple women – and Jack.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

There have been many occasions since she popped up on the screen when YR viewers have been prompted to ask: Is Christine too stupid to live?

She’s always so perky, so happy, so positive. Nothing gets her down! Maybe something should. Isabella (Eva Longoria) has taken it upon herself to do the honors. She’s faked her death and framed Christine (Lauralee Bell) for the crime. Then snuck into Christine’s bathroom and tried to send her to a watery grave.

Isabella thinks her work here is done. But she exits the bathroom to find Paul (Doug Davidson). Isabella helpfully explains that he got it all wrong: She’s alive now, and Christine is dead. Isn’t this a fun switch-a-roo?

Paul socks Isabella in the face, then rushes to revive his floating love. He also calls the cops. But, when they arrive, the story Isabella tells them doesn’t quite mesh with the one she told Paul. She’s the innocent victim, here! She’s the dead one!

Man Wanted

Damon (Keith Hamilton Cobb) is Jabot’s best Research and Development man, but Newman would love to grab him for themselves.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Dru (Victoria Rowell) make persuasive arguments, but Jack (Peter Bergman) makes it clear to Damon he ain’t going anywhere. A contract is a contract, no matter how good looking you are.

What Jack doesn’t know is that his lady, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), has noticed how good looking Damon is, too. And when she notices Victoria (then-Heather Tom) noticing the same thing, that’s when the fun really begins! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
