The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 19 features the Newman family’s attempt to pin Victor’s death of Adam, while Jack and Traci pondered the implications, and Devon got the shock of a lifetime.
Lock Him Up!
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) called Paul (Doug Davidson) — whom the Newmans have long thought of as their personal police force — and told him that Adam (Mark Grossman) was obviously to blame for Victor’s (Eric Braeden) death. So go arrest him.
Paul was hesitant, but when a report said that Victor had an elevated level of medication in his blood, Paul pulled Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) away from his conversation with Sharon (Sharon Case) and said they’re looking at a homicide investigation. Rey was excited by the chance to put cuffs on Adam.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) Adam shouldn’t be around Conner (Judah McCay), and Nikki swears she wants her stepson to pay.
End Of the Line
Jack (Peter Bergman) ponders how much of his life was defined by his battles with Victor. Traci (Beth Maitland) laments that, with Victor dead, Colleen’s heart has beat for the last time. Jack comforts his sister, then heads over to offers his condolences to Nikki.
Spitting Image
Devon (Bryant James) and Jill (Jess Walton) wondered who was looking to overturn Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) will — and why? Devon said he’s not worried. He said his life is going great right now, and nothing is going to change that. It’s like the man doesn’t know he lives in Genoa City. Later, Devon opened his door… and comes face to face with a dead ringer for Hilary (Mishael Morgan).
Spare Me
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) offered her condolences to Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Summer (Hunter King). Neither one was impressed. Summer wanted Phyllis to go, but Phyllis told her she now owns 25% of The Grand Phoenix. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
