The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, December 5, 2019, features the aftermath of the two-minute Genoa City Blackout of 2019.
Billy couldn’t figure out why he can’t tell Victoria about hanging with Amanda, while Devon dreamed about his late wife… who looks just like the new lady lawyer. Plus, Elena lectured Nate about the woman of the hour and Theo took Summer at her word.
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) caught each other up on where they were during the blackout. Billy neglected to mention he passed the time with Amanda (Mishael Morgan). Later, he ran into Amanda again and they chatted. He, once again, didn’t tell Victoria about it.
Meanwhile, Victoria told Abby (Melissa Ordway) how much she loves being CEO of Newman, but that it didn’t leave her much time for Billy. Abby, from her vast life experience with successful relationships, advised Victoria to make time for her man. Victoria swore she’d get around to it. Soon.
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) also feels that Devon (Bryton James) isn’t spending enough time with her. She channeled her frustrations into, once again, telling Nate (Sean Dominic) that he is wrong for not thinking Amanda is the devil. An overworked Devon fell asleep and dreamed of Hilary… who turned into Amanda.
Summer (Hunter King) misunderstood Theo (Tyler Johnson) saying he wants to get a bigger place as an invitation to move in together. Summer said that would be too much togetherness.
Later, she was surprised when Theo turned down her lunch invitation. He didn’t want to crowd or suffocate her.
Summer realized that Theo was breaking up with her and sniffed that it should be good for his career. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
