The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, July 14
 Comments

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, July 14 center on Victor Newmans’s late in life realization that the world does not revolve around him. Plus, Sally Spectra is furious to be put in the middle of the Locke divorce, and Billy Abbott is unhappy that his ex-wife has a new man.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Victor is furious to learn that Victoria Newman is merging his company with Ashland Locke’s. He is furious to learn that Nikki Newman knew about it and didn’t put him ahead of their daughter (and her boss). He is also furious to learn that Adam isn’t chomping at the bit to go to war with Victoria and Ashland. What is wrong with his children and wife?

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland (Richard Burgi) announce their merger. Victor (Eric Braeden) harangues Nikki and announces that his daughter has betrayed him – by, as Nikki points out, acting exactly like him. He then yells at Adam (Mark Grossman) some more for letting Conner Newman (Judah Mackey) leave town with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and insists they start attacking the Locke/Newman Enterprises merger in the press, ASAP. Adam ain’t feeling it.

Young and Restless: Frame Up

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) innocently asks Sally (Courtney Hope) if she’s seen the video of a sick Locke on the Internet. Sally just as innocently says no. Then she demands that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) meet with her in the exact same spot in Chancellor Park which everybody passes through.

Sally is furious that Tara sent out the video – and that Sally might get blamed for it. Tara dismisses that it’s their secret, and she’s not planning to tell anybody. So don’t worry about it. What she doesn’t count on is Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) overhearing.

Meanwhile, Ashland makes noises of heading back to New York, not wanting to be a burden. Instead, Victoria asks Ashland to move in. She wants to be with him – for however much time he might have left.
