The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, February 17, 2021, features Chelsea looking to Nick for help with Adam, Naya looking for a relationship with Amanda – on her terms – and Rey and Sharon wondering ‘If This Marriage Can Be Saved’?
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Nick (Joshua Morrow) visits Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and they have a one-sided conversation, with Nick talking out loud, and Chelsea in her head. Adam (Mark Grossman) shows up and throws his usual Adam tantrum.
Nick brings up Sharon (Sharon Case), and Chelsea wants to hear more, but Adam only insists he was talking to his and Nick’s ex about helping Chelsea get better. Adam throws Nick out, but Nick puts him on notice: Stay away from Sharon. And be good to Chelsea.

The Next Step
After Sharon told Adam that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) thinks she still has feelings for him – and vice-versa – he kissed her. This put Sharon into an existential spiral of shame and doubt. Meanwhile, Rey lamented to Lola (Sasha Calle) about the tenuous state of his marriage. Lola guessed that this was starting to remind him of Arturo and Mia. Then she proposed that it was actually more like Celeste and Adrian. In either case, she wasn’t exactly helpful.
Secret Mom
Naya apologized to Amanda (Mishael Morgan) for pushing her out of her life. She said she’d like for them to get to know each other. But could they, uhm, kind of keep it a secret? Especially from Naya’s other daughter.
No, thank you, Amanda said. That’s not the kind of mother-daughter relationship she’s interested in having.
Later, Amanda bumped into Nate (Sean Dominic) who wasn’t eager to talk about his aborted romantic getaway with Elena (Brytni Sarpy). At the same time, Elena was telling Devon (Bryton James) that Nate dumped her until she could figure out what she really wanted. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
