The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, April 8, 2020, see Jack put Kyle against Theo, Lily extend an invitation on Traci, and Nate and Amanda finally share their first date.
Jack (Peter Bergman) lays down the law, telling Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Theo (Tyler Johnson) that real men don’t involve Grandma in their squabbles. He is right.
Do you know how real men handle conflicts? In the boardroom! Jack announces that he is closing down Jabot Collective, and Theo and Kyle have one week to come up with a brilliant rebranding idea.
The men retreat to their corners, where Summer (Hunter King) assures Kyle she’s his secret weapon – he can’t lose with her brilliance on his side, while Lola (Sasha Calle) gives Theo a pep talk. Later, the two women snipe over their men. Then the two men snipe. It is all exactly as mature as it sounds.
Traci (Beth Maitland) admits to Lily (Christel Khalil) that she is having a tough time with Dina’s (Marla Adams) deterioration. She can’t even think about writing another book!
Lily suggests to Billy (Jason Thompson) that they launch a book division and publish Traci’s next inevitable best-seller. How hard could it be? Billy is in. Traci says she’ll think about it.
Jill (Jess Walton) – newly empowered and about to divorce Colin (Tristan Rogers) – extends an olive branch to Amanda (Mishael Morgan).
Nate (Sean Dominic) prepares to take out the barrister for the first time, but Elena (Brytni Sarpy) urges him to go slow after everything Amanda has been through.
Nate and Amanda finally meet up for their date, and both like what they see. Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) and Elena make out. It is all exactly as non-dramatic as it sounds.
