The Young and the Restless recap Tuesday, May 19, 2020, continues with a spotlight on the Winters family with Malcolm’s arrival in Genoa City. Plus, Paul’s baby mama stood trial for murder, and Hope talked to Jack while Victor makes her decisions for her. The episode originally aired May 6, 1994.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
First, there was Mamie (Marguerite Ray). Then came her niece Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams), followed by Olivia’s sister, Dru (Victoria Rowell). Olivia got Nate (Nathan Purdee), and Dru got Neil (Kristoff St. John).
Everybody was delightfully paired off and off in their corner. Then YR decided to throw a wild card into the mix. Please welcome Neil’s estranged half-brother, Malcolm (Shemar Moore)! Not only was it the actor’s first day on the show, it was his first day of professional acting – ever! He was a model previously, seen in a photo and recruited for the show. How do you think he did?
Order In the Court
Back when he was a randy teen getting Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) pregnant, Paul knocked up another girl, April. She gave birth to his daughter, Heather, and they gave marriage a try. It didn’t work, and April left town with Heather. She married a dentist and he raised Heather as his own.
But then April returned to Genoa City with news that her husband was beating her. And then he ended up dead. Now, Paul’s wife Christine (Lauralee Bell) was defending his baby mama in court. And making frowny faces whenever the judge didn’t instantly fall for her charms… like everybody else.
Gotta Have Hope
Hope (Signey Coleman) is living with Victor (Eric Braeden)… while Jack (Peter Bergman) was naming Jabot perfumes after her. This could have the makings of quite a triangle… except we all know who Adam’s (Mark Grossman) father is. So we all know how this ends. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
