The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, May 7 ends the week with Victor making clear that he expects to control not just the judicial system, but the medical system, too. Plus, Faith looks a gift horse in the kidney, Chelsea considers a confession, and Billy and Lily dance.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) explains that he needs Nate (Sean Dominic) to fake medical records so that Adam (Mark Grossman) can donate a kidney to Faith (Reylnn Caster), then sneak out of town without the Genoa City police ever being the wiser.
“Sure,” Nate says, even though the last time he faked a record for the Newmans, he almost lost his medical license. Oh, and how will he keep the actual surgeon, anesthesiologist, and nurses from recognizing Adam and blabbing? That’s something Nate doesn’t ask. That’s something we ask.
I Want It All
Faith is getting a kidney transplant literally years before less rich people in her position would have. And she won’t have to go on dialysis. But she’s still pouty. She sure wishes the kidney weren’t coming from Adam. Why shouldn’t she have everything she wants? She’s rich, too!
Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) admits to Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she told Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) about Adam being back in town. Rey says he won’t stand in the way of the transplant. Nick promises that he won’t stand in the way of Rey arresting Adam after the surgery is over. Earlier, he promised Adam he’d help him escape. He’s lying to somebody. Adam reveals himself to Rey.
Plan B
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tells Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) she’s considering confessing. Chloe is not on board. Can’t she just grab Conner (Judah Mackey) and run away again? Victor is anticipating this. And has a plan.
Dance, Dance Revolution
Lily (Christel Khalil) plans a scavenger hunt and romantic evening for Billy (Jason Thompson). Billy counters by suggesting they move in together. Cool, says Lily. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
