The Young and the Restless Recap
The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, December 25, 2019, celebrates Christmas with Phyllis determined to figure out Adam and Chance’s connection, Amanda making a new friend and telling a new lie, and Sharon greeting a welcome visitor — along with unwelcome questions.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) overheard Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chance (Donny Boaz) discussing a situation Adam helped Chance get out of in Las Vegas. Phyllis, of course, wanted to hear all about it.
Neither man would talk. Phyllis warned Chance that, if he’s not careful, Adam will stab him in the back at first opportunity. Chance wasn’t falling for it.
Phyllis also offered her friendship to Amanda (Mishael Morgan). They’re both outcasts, might as well join forces. Amanda should stick around Genoa City.
Nate (Sean Dominic) would also like for Amanda to stick around — no matter what Devon (Bryton James) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) thinks. He quizzed her about men in her life, and Amanda was vague… even as she thinks of Billy (Jason Thompson).
Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) came home from boarding school and bonded with sisters Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Summer (Hunter King), who gave her relationship advice on the patio.
Meanwhile, inside Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) couldn’t let go of his paranoia about Sharon (Sharon Case) and Adam. How many times is Sharon supposed to tell him she won’t let her ex get inside her head again? How long until Sharon can actually sound convincing?
Paul (Doug Davidson) and Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) argued about a legal thing. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) gave them spicy food, told them to cool off, and the two men reconciled.
