The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, August 26, 2021, continues to zero in on Mariah Copeland’s location. Which is a good thing, too, as she’s in serious labor. Rey Rosales finally pins down the location of Mariah’s missing cell phone, while Victor Newman and Devon Hamilton join forces, and Abby Chancellor attempts to trick Stitch Rayburn into dropping his act. Also, Sharon Rosales and Tessa Porter talk in the park. Aw, look, they think they’re helping…
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) pulls in Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) to help look at the security footage from where Stitch (Sean Carrigan) claims he saw an old man committing the great protein bar caper. But the critical moments are missing. Later, Rey gets more useful information when he learns that Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) cellphone has been triangulated to Stitch’s hotel room.
Rey runs into Victor (Eric Braeden) and Devon (Bryton James), who, even without police contacts, were able to come to the same conclusion. They break into Stitch’s room – a search warrant? What might that exotic item be? – and Devon calls Mariah’s phone. Which rings. In a bag sitting on the chair.
Y&R Recap: To Tell the Truth
Abby (Melissa Ordway) knew that Victor and Devon were going to confront Stitch, but she is, frankly, tired of letting everyone else run the show. So she texts Stitch to come to her house, where she sobs about how she’s about to lose another baby. Stitch wouldn’t want to do that to her again, would he? Please, Stitch, tell her what you did with Mariah and Abby’s baby.

Young and Restless: Connect the Dots
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) sit in the park, talking about their favorite memories of Mariah. Sharon laments that she doesn’t have the same psychic connection with Mariah that Tessa seems to.
While Tessa is saying how she can feel her girlfriend, Mariah is screaming from labor pains. Obviously, she can’t feel everything Mariah is feeling.
