The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, August 28, 2020, ends the week on a circular note, as Phyllis advises Nick to do something he’s done multiple times before, the quad of Kyle, Summer, Theo, and Lola can’t seem to stay away from each other, and the Abbotts continue spinning their wheels.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Nick (Joshua Morrow) is pouting about the latest fight he had with Victor (Eric Braeden). You all know the drill by now: Do what I say, blah, blah, blah; No, I’m my own man, blah, blah, blah; I demand absolute loyalty, you got that? You’re not the boss of me!
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) tells Nick that she may dislike his little sister, but she admires the way Abby (Melissa Ordway) has made a life for herself away from the Newmans. If Nick is tired of his head to heads with Victor, just cut him out of your life.
You mean the way Nick did when he left Newman Enterprises? When he gave away his trust fund? When he tried to move away with Christian? All it took was for Victor to clutch his heart, not unlike Fred Sanford, and promise to shuffle off his mortal coil, and Nick was right there at his bedside, swearing filial piety. But, sure, now that Phyllis suggests it… This time it will definitely take.
Cranky Pants
Lola (Sasha Calle) grouses at Kyle (Michael Mealor) about Summer (Hunter King). Lola grouses at Theo (Tyler Johnson) when he wants to talk about Kyle. It’s nice to see her shed her goody-two-shoes persona and finally become a real girl. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) does the same. But she’s always grouchy.
In the meantime, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) discuss the thrilling conversation about boxes they had last week. It ends with Jack deciding he wants it all. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
