The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, October 7, 2020, features another blackout as Chelsea, after yelling at Billy, gets stuck in the Chancellor Communications elevator. Plus, Sharon and Nick worry about Faith, and Abby wants Chance to cut ties with Adam.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) stomps into Billy’s (Jason Thompson) office to deliver her usual monologue about how Adam (Mark Grossman) is good, and Billy is bad. She invokes Connor (Judah Mackey), who will be sad that Billy wrote bad things about his Daddy.

She invokes Delia, who she claims would be ashamed of her Daddy for writing bad things about Adam. She even remembers that Johnny is her biological child, and claims that if she’d known Billy would turn out to be so vindictive, she’d have never let he and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) adopt her son. Because Chelsea the con-artist clearly has the moral high ground here.

Chelsea stomps out the way she stomped in, and Lily (Christel Khalil) arrives. Which is when the lights go out. Billy and Lily are stuck in the office. Chelsea is stuck in the elevator. Adam, meanwhile, sneaks around the office in the dark. But, it’s OK, he’s wearing a hat so no one will recognize him. Chelsea tries to get out of the elevator, but then she falls due to her high heels and looks down for the count.

Collateral Damage

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) takes Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) out for coffee and brownies again, so they can have the same conversation again, about how Faith is terrific and she shouldn’t worry about how she’s supporting Sharon through her surgery. At the same time, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) wonder if their daughter could benefit from some therapy, but decide not to pressure her. Same as they did the last time they discussed this.

End Of The World

Chance (Donny Boaz) is sad that he can’t rejoin the police force until he settles the situation with Adam. Abby (Melissa Ordway) reasonably points out that he can just cut ties with the man. Chance won’t. So… there? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
