The Young and the Restless Recap: Let’s Talk About Adam

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 10, 2020, proves once and for all that just when you think there are no more people who need to talk about Adam, there are always other people who are dying to talk about Adam.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Sharon (Sharon Case) found out on Wednesday that surgery did not get rid of her cancer, and now she is facing a mastectomy and possible death. But enough about her, let’s talk about Adam (Mark Grossman).

Sharon told Adam she can’t be his support system anymore, she needs to focus on herself and on getting well. Of course, by the end of the day, Sharon realized the error of her ways and went running back to Adam. He made some noises about being there for her, too, but Sharon dismissed it as crazy talk. What could be more important than Adam’s case of sads?

Nothing New For the Newmans

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tried to convince Victor (Eric Braeden) that he is not to blame for how Adam turned out. Victor can’t imagine a world in which he is not responsible for everything. Victor accuses her of only picking on poor, baby Adam because he is not her biological child. Nikki has been waiting for him to play that card. And she’s not amused.

Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) discuss how Victor is always putting Adam ahead of them.

Side Piece

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) discuss Adam, with her mouthing the party line about what a great dad he is. Rey is worried about Adam taking advantage of Sharon. But he is too nice a guy to tell his girlfriend what to do.

Finally, Chance (Danny Boaz) tells Chelsea where Adam is – and that Sharon is there with him. Chelsea doesn’t go chasing after her man – even though that’s exactly what she’s been wanting to do for days. She decides to give Adam space. And then she changes her mind.
